Well, I tried manually setting permissions during my troubleshooting, and even
tried to connect while running as root (Well, sudo) and it didn't work.

What I have done to try to solve the issue is this:

Installed the previous version of libgphoto (2.1.6) - This allowed Digikam to
be able to add the camera to the list, but still could not connect to it
(Permissions I assumed). The latest version (2.1.99-2) doesn't even allow
Digikam to add the camera (Rules file does contain my camera).

Went through the digital camera section on the Wiki twice, just to make sure I
did not miss a step.

Re installed the OS, thinking I messed up something trying to install hotplug
(As per the Wiki) while removing udev (That was a bad idea).

Manually recompiled libgphoto2 from source and went thought the rules file to
ensure it contained my camera (It did).

Now, I am sitting on a fresh install with all updated packages; still can't
add the camera.

What else can I try?

Thanks!!!

Joe
