I'm hoping someone can help me out with some research I'm starting. We are looking into how best to architect our reporting and archiving needs. I'm trying to get a feel for what other organizations do for these two processes. Separate databases? Out of the box reporting? Analytics? Separating reporting server (either database or front end)?
