and in any case I don't think it's a good idea using IMF if you already
have
ASSP sitting in front of your Exchange server; the only thing you may
need
would be an Exchange *integrated* AV to scan emails flowing from local
user to local user since in that case ASSP won't play a role; other than
that
I can's see which benefit you may have by running IMF behind ASSP

Going back on the exchange vs others discussion; if you're running a
windows
"shop" and need a "groupware" application featuring AD integration and
so on,
then go straight for exchange; if, on the other hand, you only need a
mailserver
then there are other *better* choices around
