clearly something the SD firmware folks need to take a close, priority look at. this is a significant feature of the SB imo, and while there appears to be a workaround in running decompression server-side, one of the features of the SB is that the firmware s/b able to offload that processing task.
I imagine server-side FLAC>WAV processing could become a real problem for those streaming FLAC to multiple SB's, maybe even a showstopper in some cases(?). I haven't a/b'd the settings yet but will try tomorrow. At this point enough people have chimed in that I tend to believe it tho.
