I usually agree with Iphone but not totally this time.  Itunes is
actually a good manager as long as you don't let it touch your files. 
It has a lot of nice features but you have to be careful with it.  I
think mediamonkey is a lot better in may ways as you can control it
better.  But I think that once you get your library in order and get
used to it, dbpoweramp can keep it up and maintain it very well. It'
kind of manual but it has all the tools and combining it with mp3tag
and you have a complete system that you can trust.  I like a lot of
things about Itunes but I don't trust it.  Part of that is Apples way
of wanting to control everything and do things that you might not want
it to do. But it does a very good job of organizing so I will give it,
it's due.  If you get serious about it then you will be better going
away from it like Iphone has said.
