Hi Cheri. Going on what you have provided me, I am cleaning up some errors. One thing *I know for sure* (via her death certificate I have access to) is the information for my Great-great grandmother:
*Marie U. (Janinto) Linhares* (b. Sept. 5, 1854 - d. Sept. 30, 1942). She was born in Ribeira Quente, São Miguel, Azores. Her father is listed as *Jaquin Jacinto* on her death certificate. No mother's name listed. Her son is my Great-grandfather, *John (Joao) Linhares* (1888 - 1976)*. Marie U. (Jacinto) Linhares *immigrated from the Azores to America in 1903. She died in Dinuba, Tulare County, California, USA and is buried in Visalia, California. You suggested I go find the baptism information for the immigrants. Can you link me to a place where I might find *Marie U. (Jacinto) Linhares* baptism information so I can see if I can find parents and spouse names? Grateful.
