Ha! I understand that too, Cheri. I'm having trouble reading the info in that link though. I see names. There is a Marianna Ursula! Maybe some connection to the Americanized Marie U. I have a death certificate for. Maybe she is a sibling rather than a parent of my Great-grandfather, Joao Linhares. These names are helpful, but I don't read Portuguese. Where could I get help translating that Joao Linhares baptism link you first shared?
