That wouldn't be my choice, but some people might. Nb. "Music From La Vallée" is a Pink Floyd album (Obscured by Clouds) :-) To me, Compilation is a separate attribute, only loosely related to album artist. It seems reasonable to have a browsable list of compilations, being whatever a user has explicitly tagged as being a compilation. It would also be useful to browse compilations to find albums that have been miss-tagged. Where the scanner automatically determines that an album is a compilation (because the artist names differ across tracks) and not explicitly tagged with an album artist.
