No. That's what the Browse Artists list would be for. An all-inclusive list. The Browse Album Artists list is the straightforward, uncluttered list of artists who have full albums. Its purpose is to suppress all of the one-track artists, so it would make no sense including contributors with other roles. > > If the user wants to see performers that appear only on one track of an > album (don't have any album involvement), they could browse All Artists, > All Bands, All Conductors, or All Composers. Perhaps a top-level menu: > > All Performers > > Artists > > Bands > > Composers > > Conductors > > Great idea. Then we get rid of the "Composer, Conductor, Band/Orchestra in Artists" pref. But I suspect it will take an additional ten years to convince anyone of its need. > Or "All Performers" being a list of all artists, bands, composers, > conductors, where it is possible to filter the list down (checkboxes to > enable/disable the display of each of these roles). Isn't that what we have now? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JJZolx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101264 _______________________________________________ beta mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/beta
