Because I do not agree with that: For me, firefox-63 built just fine
without patching with either its internal icu (ISTR despite system
icu-63) or with system icu-62. The problem arose from system icu-63
starting to export (no idea whether on purpose) its "checkImpl" AND
firefox including that.
Anyway, with 63.0.1 on BLFS-8.2 (ICU 60) that sed works. It also
works on this-week's 64 beta on an 8.3 / 62 system where it is not
needed, so I think we should just pick it up.
That was my intention: Without having to understand what either developers
intend to do with their "checkImpl", I can avoid the name clash without
side effects by renaming the Firefox internal one to e.g. "checkFFImpl".
I'm now getting ready to build a fresh system (my first with ICU
63). Will see how it goes,
