Hi, Allan. Two things.
First, I do not recommend going with VB 6. I have several reasons but I
can sum them up shortly. VB 6 is rapidly becoming out of date. When you
decide to upgrade you will have to practically relearn what you know to
become a VB .net programmer. Third, there is a free VB .net compiler you
can use to learn VB .net. Finally, I have VB .net books if you need
them. As a programmer if you really want to go VB it is best to start
out with the latest and not learn the old and try and bring yourself up
to the new.
Second, thing is you are right about the Dungeon stories. I found the
DND main site has contributed Dungeons in pdf format. I can download and
read them. All I would need do Is manufacture a home made dice program
or grab GMA's dice program and pretend to play through eh few dungeons.
Don't know how i would manage an objective gamebeing both the dm and
adventurer, but would be interesting to try.
Smile.
