Hi, Shaun.
I trust other developers on this list like Justin, Josh, etc to keep the 
problem to themselves, and not to take advantage of the situation.
There are however plenty of new people learning programming, and all it 
takes is one less than reputable script kiddy to take advantage for a 
vonerability like this, and then blow the thing up in my face. Is the 
solutions perfect? No, no security is full proof. are they better than 
leaving this security hole open? I believe so.
