Sitting close enough to get pelted with mud clogs, the sounds, the smells, 
of dirt track racing.

Yes,  it be so cool. to race down the back strech, dueling for position for 
the curve,  letting of the gas, slamming the wheel to the left, going into a 
slide sidewards  spinning the wheel back then stompping on the gas to race 
to the checker.

Clay tracks comes in many sizes.  mile, half maile and quarter mile.  It was 
the quarter mile I grewup with  Kankaekee speedway.  The do have their own 
web page as many dirt tracks have.  A great place to check out if needed to 
do any research.

Southern Culture on the Skids
a band from North Carolina has a song called
Dirt Track Date..  Its also the name of the CD.
Its a great album to be introduced to SCotS
Chech it out, you can find the CD at big out lets and the band do have there 
own web site.
