I agree with those statements but who wants to buy a game and pay $35.00-$45.00 or whatever the price of the game is with the only thing to shoot for is to beat your own score or someone else score?
If you play a game enough and no variety to a game, eventually for those who don't work, and play every day will get to the highest scores and then what? Also for those who can't play every day and eventually beat the game may be not a the highest score, will be satisfied. I know I have gotten to the end of a masterful game that a list member created and now that I got to the end of the game, I don't want to play it again. I loved the game and it made me play a lot. Now I know how to win. Who cares? I don't want to play a game that I know how to beat. I understand when a game is free then you kind of cut back because why put all the energy and creativeness to something that is free? This of course is my opinion. I do understand other people's feeling as well. Thomas do what you feel is right and what you want to do with it. I will buy the game if it is something that catches my interest. I am just glad that there are programmers and developers that do this for our community. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of allan thompson Sent: Sunday, March 26, 2006 6:54 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: you're not sure why?? - Re: audyssey: Monty new audio environment. Hi Tom, Perhaps the answer to your problem is as simple as keeping the original intent of the game at one difficulty level and add in all those random factors people want in harder difficulties. That way, everyone is more or less happy. Although, I have to admit, you surely got to understand that you cannot please everyone absolutely. It is just impossible. In addition, Everyone else should realize that other people want to play the game in a certain way as well and should be open minded to everyone elses desires for the game. Just because someone enjoys random monsters in the game doesn't mean that everyone else does so. some give and take should be considered here. Come to me and I will give you rest...
