Hi Allan,
I think part of the, "this is so boring," mind set comes from the fact 
they were locked in to the beginner level of the game in the demo. On 
easy levels of course you can leap over monsters and easily get away. 
However, on insane the monsters move much faster, and you lose more 
health points which means you will die very quickly. If you like trying 
and trying to beat the game then it might have replay value, or simple 
frustration.
Point here this is a new version of an old game. In those days they 
didn't have random placement of things, random monsters, etc. So I am 
working with the concept either stick to the original or write something 
else that isn't Monty.
