A friend of mine is restoring a 1938 BMW 327 Cabriolet. For that project or
another, he is in need of a set of rubber firewall grommets for the heater
hoses that fit a mid to late 1960's BMW 2002 model. Any ideas as to where
these could be found?

Thanks,

Stan

That ti didn't work out, but I was *impressed* with Bill's inspection.
I like to think I'm fairly picky, and he gave me exactly the detail I wanted.
Well worth the price.

I found a very nice example in western Michigan that I bought just about a
month ago. I'm storing it for the winter, and can't wait till spring. :-)

Car is a 1999 528iT. Just picked it up today, and the rear end is giving me
too much feeback...ifin you know what I mean. You hit a bump...and you get
another bump 'echo' in the car...also feels a little spongy. Do these cars
have the hydraulic self leveling rear shocks...all of them..or was that an
option?

Donate to Goodwill . Sometimes they will even USE them if they have clients
in wheelchairs in their work environment .

Ask local Nursing home if they do likewise .

Snell rating works wonders for old men !!

Donate to the local chapter for riders to for occasional loaners at
autocross and other parking lot related safety schools. Anyone who's
actually autocrossing or going to real driver's schools needs to own
their own helment.

IMO, YMMV
