It's a Black sport interior(not luxury package), sunroof equipped car and is in VG condition and at this point I have everthing from front window glass and motors, carpet, seatbelts and the seats available. It has the split/folding rear seats (with the Motosport stripes) and pretty good condition Vaders. If anyone is looking for anything send me an email off-list with what you are looking for. I would prefer not to ship the larger parts but obviously the longer the stuff sits in my garage that will change, I am located 50 miles NW of Chicago and can deliver within a reasonable distance if necessary. I also have some other stuff, such as: Alpine Single CD head unit with E36 adapter attached (don't know the model but can look at it tonight) Brey Krause Harness Bar Schroth Profi II 4 point harnesses with ASM that are two years old One of the things I am looking for is a fixed back race seat for the passenger side, I would be willing to trade that for the Vaders since I will need at least one seat to use until the car comes back from the cage builder. I just knew it was off my car... but I couldn't identify it. But I kept it on the table in my garage anyway. Fast forward to today. I take the fan out of the car to make it easier to poke around for vacuum leaks & to get a better listen for this grinding noise I hear (more on that later). Well I'll be... damn thing is missing a blade. And the piece I have on my table is an exact fit. WTF. This is a newer part, put it in the car last September (general cooling system R&R). What a POS. Before I buy another one, does anybody have a specific recommendation for a manufacturer that is especially good or bad? I don't need these things disintegrating like this. What I have now is from Pelican, 11-52-1-712-058-M9, brand: Genuine BMW. - Kevin Jay '96 328is, red/tan, 102K, usual H&R/Bilstein setup, a few M3 parts too '02 X5 3.0, white/tan, 66K, bone stock ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Jul 2007 07:40:40 -0500 From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Subject: Re: <E36> my new fan lost a blade Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> your fan blade is breaking because the fan clutch is bad. it's over spinning the plastic blades. They don't do well at 6500RPM! ______________________________________________ Jon Siccardi - DM #053 TreehouseRacing.com M50conversion.com 615.333.9118 ______________________________________________ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Jay (Mr.Fabulous)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, July 05, 2007 12:04 PM Subject: [UUC] <E36> my new fan lost a blade > > Found a piece of black plastic laying in my driveway a few weeks ago. I'm also curious why you would buy a Genuine BMW part from Pelican. There web site shows it at more than $5 above dealer list price. As far as I know, they are based on currency conversions of the Euro price, which can be vastly different to the US price. That certainly seems logical, it probably wouldn't even take very long to happen.
