I've been following this thread with interest as it's been giving me
clues as to a problem I'm currently experiencing. The thread started
out talking about brew temperature, but mine problem is with steam.

My BII (2.5 yrs old, always on) has been having a problem lately where
shortly after starting to steam milk the pump comes on to fill the steam
boiler. This cold water coming in kills the steam pressure almost
immediately. I'm lucky if I can steam enough for a cappuccino before I
have to stop and wait for the pressure to come back.

Is this steam water level controller the likely culprit?
