I have an 18 month old IV-R plumbed into the house. This morning I made three latte's and then turned off the machine. 20 minutes later I turned it back on to make another and checked back in 15 minutes and the temp was 136. The steam boiler gauge showed no pressure and I've not seen the red light come on for the steam boiler. The machine has worked great the entire 18 months so, of course, I decided two days ago to descale after the other thread about how often to clean. I used citric acid at two tablespoons per quart. I'm not one to believe in coincidences so I have to believe that's done something here but I thought I'd ask the experts.
