Every couple of days this will happen again however now it's the brew boiler each time. I've figure out that simply turning the machine off and on again causes things to work properly. I'm going to pull the cover and check the connections but it seems more like a faulty switch rather than a loose connection.
It's going to be quite tough to troubleshoot due to the inconsistent nature.
