Ahhh, Seatle! :)) Seattle Coffee Gear - one favorite site and videos to
watch!!! BTW, Gail do not sell Expobar, also Chris Cofffee Service, Clive
Coffe, 1st in Coffee too ... Only WWL among the biggest online stores sells
Expobar. I impressed also that Todd favored "between the lines" Gaggia
Classic vs Rancilio Silvia in a WWL video which also impressed the public
together with his over extracted shot you mentioned. :))

Actually, I am from Bulgaria and really we use Cyrillic alphabet as
Russians do. The alphabet is called "Cyrillic" in the honor of St. Cyril
from Thessaloniki who had been Bulgarian. During these ancient times, this
territory had been Bulgarian. Bulgaria is an ancient country founded on 681
A.C. My native town is Plovdiv which is among the 6 most ancient populated
locations all over the world. :))

I love my Rancilio Silvia v4 (with reparable heating element of the boiler)
but when I tasted a shot from Brewtus IV in a local store I decided that I
must have such machine.I have had sweet spot shots very rare with Ms
Silvia, but I never have had produced such aroma and mouth taste as I did
with Expobar. It was funny, because I tasted the Brewtus IV in the store
bringing with me my Mazzer Mini E grinder. Unfortunately, the price of
Bulgarian store was 1560 EURO and that is why I decided to buy the machine
online. That is why I am asking about the durability of the machine,
because I cannot rely on labor service during the warranty, but only to the
spare parts.

Thank you for the suggested sites. Dan Kehn's HB is one of my favorite
ones. Another one I had not known and I will browse it with huge interest.

BTW, Please, advise, is it necessary to put some heavy peace of glass into
the water tank in order to avoid the earlier shut off of the machine from
micro switch which is sensitive to the weight of the water in the tank? It
could be not convenient the machine to be switched off at half of the water
tank.

Regarding the different choices, I seriously consider 3 different machines
as an option to buy: Alex Duetto III (2100 EURO), Rocket Cellini Evoluzione
v2 (1600 EURO) and Rocket Cellini Premium Plus v3 PID (1300 EURO). Honestly
said, I can not find serious argument for business case to neglect Expobar
and pay more money. Only the exterior of the Italian brands has better
finish. But my primary wish is to make as much as possible espresso! I had
times when I thought that buying the Rocket EVO v2 (rotary pump plus water
tank or mains by choice and Sirrai pressurestat) is the best option for me
because of commercial pressurestat which is supposed to be more reliable
than PID controller. BTW, are they frequent failures of the Brewtus PID
being mounted at the center of the front near the boiler? Because Rocket's
PID is mounted at the bottom where is the coldest place of the machine?

Warm greetings!
Petar
