I'd also like to consider certain aspects of etiquette that I use to think
went without saying, but now I'm afraid are not:

We do not quote private emails, ICQ messages, etc.  without the consent of
the person who wrote them.  In particular, we do not do this to prove
culpability of another list member

We do not tell people that they should unsubscribe for the good of the list.

We do not threaten or even hint at real life repercussions for anything that
is posted.  (If we want tease a friend, we remember to put in a smiley.)
