Some please correct me if I am wrong, but if I understood the original
suggestion of moving everyone on Earth to Texas, it was that a *one story*
building with 30x30 living areas for each person could fit in half the area
of Texas. Admittedly, one would have to allow for either hallways in the
giant one-story apartment building or paths between the individual sheds
(or build it as one giant barracks), which would take more space, as would
the necessary infrastructure for utilities. Figure that doubles the area
required to the size of the whole state of Texas. Admittedly, most of the
inhabitants would need to telecommute . . . (except maybe for the grain
farmers who could live on the northern side so they could farm Oklahoma,
Kansas, etc. . . . ;-) )
