I would have no problem having the performance of the team(s)
I work on determine the percentage increase in my salary each
year.

Having the team determine it, and/or having the possibility of a
negative change in my compensation would strike me as
unnecessarily threatening. A company would have to fire me
if they wanted to decrease my compensation. I would expect
most professional developers to feel that way about a salaried
position.

Hi Dale,

I don't know... Trusting my monthly income to the team is a bit too
much for me right now. Maybe I could do it if I had worked with them
before. But in the dark, I dont know if I would have the guts.
How to build that kind of trust between strangers?
