Career growth into what? Cashier? I think one of the
problems is the realization that money is everything
especially when it comes to corporate profit.

When manufacturers whined about losing their jobs they
were told to "learn and grow." Go back to school, get
an intellectual, white collar job.

Now that the white collar jobs are leaving, where do
we go? Well, you would say learn more but even
scientists, which are the root of higher education are
being outsourced by the likes of google.
