Harnser's present position http://tinyurl.com/Harnser-s-route

We set off at 9-30 just after the narrowboat "The third Lily" had just
gone by. They were with us on the BCN cruise that we have just completed.
We met a few boat including one who had taken one look at the IWA
National mooring and left. The weather was almost like summer with quite
a bit of sun about. We next saw "The Third Lily" just above Hinksford
Lock. It looked as if their drive plate had failed so we towed them to
the next road bridge so that Canal and River Rescue could easily reach
them. We carried on and picked Damsons on the offside just before
Botterham Staircase Locks. BW had a lock keeper on duty at the staircase
to help the festival traffic through. The next highlight was Bratch,
chatting to the keeper he told me that he had 18 boats through and it
was then 2pm. We carried on for another couple of hours and moored for
the night on the visitor moorings just below Compton Lock almost opposite
Lime Kiln Narrowboats.
We took a walk up the mooring and saw narrowboat "Moonshine" they had
also been with us last week.
