From a response in Waterways World by the General Manager for the unit
which includes the Monty the water allowed for the Frankton Locks at
the end of the Monty in normal conditions the number of boat passages
will stay at a maximum of around 12 no matter how much of the canal is
opened for boats.

(This is due to all water passing down the Llangollen being accounted
for with no more expected to ever be available and with back pumping
ruled out due to eco concerns.)
