Actually, I take it back. You can tell me that the world was less
violent. It seems to reason that perhaps the number of incidents may have
been higher and perhaps more people died due to violence, but the degree of
violence may be greater now. This is in no small part due to the power of
modern weapons and technology, which have made killing more efficient and a
science.
