We wait, like we did with Milosevic. We got him (or the International
community did). Look, I don't have all the answers, any more than any of you
do, but this war thing is NOT the answer. Terrorism exists and will exist,
going there to root him out will get a lot of young American men killed, as
in Somalia.

Ouch, Micky Mouse. I ask it because of the hypocrisy going on here. One
minute we have people doing all this God Bless America stuff (e.g., the
President) and then we talk war, like the two go together. The fact that I
am agnostic does NOT make me ignorant of it's teachings, and what I learned
in Catholic and Baptist schoolings was that he taught that we should not
fight. I am not bashing any church, why do you say that? I am saying I
wonder what he would have to say about this. What would his council be, the
Son of God. How can President Bush reconcile this war with his beliefs. Just
curious really.

Oddly, I feel I did say them, in the form of "or other groups". In another
email I addressed this issue. Yes, there are extremists on both sides. My
experience is that left wing groups often do not take life, while right wing
seem more prone to do it.

As to Seattle, that was an Anarchist group. I do not condone that at all.
The vast majority of people there, which the news does not get very excited
about, were peaceful and in fact tried to stop some of the destruction. I
would not call Anarchists left wing, sorry, but they are anti-governement,
which in my book is very far right.

No, I do not advocate what Earth First or any of the other very left groups
are doing, though I do think their agenda has some merit, they are
approaching it from the wrong direction.

We do you say this? Because we differ in opinion? Did I attack you? I do not
dislike conservatives, I just do not agree with many of the policies and see
the world from a different perspective than you. My friend of 25 years is
quite conservative and introduced me to the Baptist church (I grew up
Catholic).
