Gary, you understand that it is not our intention to kill women and
children in Afghanistan, right? The goal is to kill terrorists, stop the
ability for terrorists to be trained, remove the taliban from a position to
retaliate and remove their ability to rule the country. You get this,
right?
because if we kill "these people" (along with the unfortunate
civilians, men including, because there are plenty of non-terroristic men in
afghanistan - just had to point out how sexist your statement was ;-) )
they go away. You understand that right? If we accidentally take out some
innocents, its a pity for sure, but it doesnt' mean we dont' complete our
objective. The two are not mutually exclusive - if we kill some civilians
it doesnt' mean we dont' get rid of terrorists.
