Well it is going to happen with new drivers regardless of wether they
get their license at 16 or 18. It just happens statistics show we all
have at least 2 accidents with 1 of them being our fault. I'm batting
200%+. Had my first accident when i was 17. I had dropped my baby
sister off at middle school and i was on the way to high school and i
pulled into the medien and a bus was there. So instead of sitting and
holding the bus up i kept going becuase i had looked and i had a clear
shot across. What i didn't see was that a car was just behind the bus
out of my line of sight so i got tboned in our van by a buick lasabre.
Guy was doing like 70+ in a 50. I would have been killed if i was not
wearing my seatbelt i am sure. Van was pretty banged up the car was
totalled though. My dad was not the most wealthy guy so he just welded
a big piece of steel plate over the hole in the side of the van. And
the side door was gone and the van became a 2 door :>.

He drove that van for another 6 years or so, she was 12-13 when she
was finally put to sleep with 350k miles on her.

I think 3 of my accidents were my fault 2 were others.

getting back from LA.
