That sounds normal to me, but, however, there is a difference between a
person who assumes people of a certain color/sex/etc are a danger, and
the government doing the same. Ie, in the case of the pilot, he may not
have been a government official, but he was acting in a different
capacity then the woman in the elevator. In her case, she would probably
just get out of the elevator. She wouldn't force the man to leave.
