2 miles in 22 minutes is awesome! I am not up to that kind of speed yet.
Sometimes I think I am not pushing far enough fast enough. I just really
want to last the distance right now so I am pushing that instead. I
haven't even added the 1% incline yet to my run. 

Maybe when I lose the last 50 pounds I will start increasing my speed?

What is your target again? When is the triathlon?
