I never had any illusions about Iraq being a cheap war, but then again I
never thought we were going in over WMD either. I figured it was all about
changing the face of the Middle East. And again, I'm not suggesting any kind
of invasion. That would be a total failure. As I said before, I don't even
know if it would be possible (and Tim's thoughts about the current troop
deployments pretty much tell me it isn't), but the alternative is, as Tim
said, a world war.
