Yeah - I can't think of a question that would be racially biased as an adult firefighter. Your Navajo example is fine for the SAT, but I'm with Jerry - you know how to do the job or you don't. If someone doesn't understand a concept because of their cultural background and as a result they may put people's lives at risk (as a firefighter), that's a different thing. When it comes to saving lives I think that being competent in your job is more important than political correctness. But maybe I am totally off - I just am curious about what type of question is biased in this case? I wonder if the test questions (and/or the subjects taking the test) have been studied closely enough by anyone to discover the reasons behind the test results. -Cameron ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
