I cannot agree with that. Actually, there are two levels of support:

- Community: We've been trying to give you a hand on this thread. Even  
though nobody found what the installation problem was (I'm pretty sure

- Profesional: Octality (http://www.octality.com/) offers profesional  
support for High Performance Web environments, more specially for  
Cherokee.

Again. You've seen that a number of people tried to help you out. I do  
NOT think they deserve that tone.

<sighhhhhh..> Well, let's see if we finally find what's wrong with  
your setup. My first guess; try searching for cherokee executables (in  
order to check if you have mixed to different versions of cherokee).  
There MUST be only one cherokee-worker binary installed in your system:

   find / -name cherokee-worker
