I meant to say...
I can teach an adult learner so they can give the correct answers on a test
(measuring cognitive retention)...it may be "low level" cognitive retention
but still "simple knowledge" may be measured and retained for short term.
Does this mean they will apply and embrace this information in their life
decisions (affective retention)??? Not necessarily so...this is very
difficult to impact on with an adult...
Do I stop facilitating an ethic course due to this limited impact...no
I just have to accept the simple impact I may have...in other words a simple
passing grade on their transcript...LOL
