LOL! Thanks Ruth. Yes, Bulldogs are a challenge and after 40+ years of
owning (still have two) and breeding, showing and loving them,
Cavaliers seem like a piece of cake.
It is really too bad that people are still "badmouthing" about AKC only
vs CKCUSA. It is also too bad, if what I have heard is true, that the
folks in CKCUSA can't breed to dogs that are AKC only registered. Seems
that it limits everyones options and the point is supposed to be "the
good of the breed" not which club you do or do not belong to.
Persoanlly I try to ignore it unless it becomes too blatant. I have
been in dogs a long time, was extremely fortunate to have started in
Cavaliers with healthy, sound dogs from that world famous Australian
breeder, Jeanie whats-her-name. Just kidding. I have also been
extremely fortunate to be able to breed to some wonderful stud dogs
owned by others. There are some nice people in the Cavalier world and
the others don't count.
