LOL Carol - Nuba-danes? Great Saanens? We have a BOARDING kennel. Yesterday, right after the phone call from the lady who wanted to sell me her Cavalier, we had a call for a poodle puppy. Last month we had calls for Dachshunds and pit bulls, and occasionally do get people who simply want to know what we "have in stock" Duh...... Coming from a farm background (my sister and I had a flock of our very own purebred registered Hampshire show sheep), and having been involved with breeding with an eye to improvement since the age of 8 (Best in Show chickens - yep, that's right, chickens! LOL), I have not got a clue what goes thru a pet buyer's mind. But those "have in stock" type of questions really get me crazy...... These are living animals....not something with a switch that you turn on and off, or mark down and put at the far end of the display section like a piece of steak that has just about reached it's "sell by" date....
