Laura: In Farmington, MN (a suburb of St. Paul/Mpls.) we have about 5 or 6
ads now that sell Cavaliers. It's pathetic. And we have a puppy mill about
15 miles from here and Burnsville Shopping Center is only about 10 miles
from us and THEY have cavaliers they sell. Each year there are more and
more ads in the Sunday papers for Cavaliers and half of them are "shipped
in" from Ireland. They want about $1500-$2000 for a puppy. I wish I could
put another line on their answering machine and tell everyone exactly what
is happening, but at present, that's not possible. It ticks me off. What
can I do? I have already been to the pet store and started asking a few
questions, but the lady walked away from me and wouldn't even answer me any
longer. I feel sorry for those poor puppies but I can't afford to buy all
of them--nor pay for their medical bills, which I am sure will be plenty.
What do you do? Gayle Draus at [EMAIL PROTECTED]
