Hi Myra, Ohhhhh.....ok...that makes more sense :)! I can't imagine taking prepaid checks on unborn puppies. It would make decision making more stressful.
Some of the folks that I have dealt with in regards to studs do not take payment until after the litter has been born...and I have also prepaid upfront and when the breeding didn't take, I had my choice of boys in her house for the next breeding. Both ways have been very fair.
