I work with bitch owners much the way Myra does....and by the way I am one of those that does ask to have a say in the kind of homes the puppies go to. These puppies will have my kennel name on their papers and I think I have a responsibiltiy to be involved. I explain my criteria for placing puppies and hope that they will honor my wishes. I will take responsibility for providing names of good homes, many of whom I will have met at my home before referring them on (which I do for most people who call and want to be referred to reputable breeders.) There are some of us who do not like to be attacked for our views and who have decided it is better to remain silent than to share our opinions or experiences. The result, unfortunately, is that the same few people are always posting (which IS appreciated but more is better) and we are not really learning from many of the list members who I am sure have much valuable information to share.
