The only reason I shared this information is that our local TV station
recently did a bit regarding post dated checks & it was there that the bank
personnell stated the reality is the date on the check is not going to stop
a check from going through.
It is a reality & one that I was not aware of before & is only a comment on
the practice of post dating checks.
I think it is great that when you went to cash the check that the bank
noticed the date on the check & didn't take it but the truth is this
doesn't always happen & what the financial person on the TV show stated is
the bank can take the check regardless of the date.
I think Myra's attitude is great & this is not a reflection on that at
all. It's just about post dating checks.
