Claudia, I'm not suggesting that all breeders should now test for Thrombocytopenia, but it is disappointing to see the subject of what can be a serious disease come up and then see how quickly it turns from the disease itself to a "do--do not test" debate among breeders. It makes me wonder who is more concerned about the welfare and future of the breed: the breeders who have been involved for years or pet owners like me, with 4 Cavaliers and a Cavalier mix.
