I do have respect for autoamune conditions...infact my niece almost died of
idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura as a child.  She went into remission
with supportive therapy and is a healthy college student.

I do test for platelet abnormalities when symptoms or procedures indicate an
investigation...I do strongly believe in objective testing.  But I feel the
discussion was centered on the different approach to medicine in other
countries...we need to bridge understanding not create division.
