Susan..this is so true...a good example of grouplink is the puritans that still is intergrated into our thinking in the USA.
Yes...we have been causing harm!!! Some CKCSs have been tested through the defensive medicine approach and placed on steroids to treat "low platelets". The steroids have caused symptoms to appear in these dogs...But remember this same dog was the picture of health before treatment. It is like the middle ages where healthcare providers "bled" the patients to get rid of the "poison blood". So until we now this is true problem...we may be doing more harm in treating a condition that may be variation of" normal" for this breed.
