Hello Susan,
I know exactly what you are talking about.  Many Cavalier breeders in the
USA don't care much about the breed.  Many attempt to keep new people out
and to slow old people down.
However, I don't know of any hobby breeder..cats, dogs or horses that would
just name the price and say "come on down".
I want back ground info, I want to know the purpose of the breeding, I want
the heart status of the bitch in writing.
