I had the same problem today , my computer said it was a sig change/14 day but when it transmitted it was a 0/5 day on the verification report . After calling the soft ware company and trying things on my own I finally got it!I had even called the state rep but I never got a return call. Big surprise !

I have had this problem today myself and from my experience if you change the RB2 date it will reject the correction when you submit it

Unfortunately, the R2b date is not when you finished assessing the resident - that is the ARD. The R2b date is when you finished filling out the form. That is the date you made the AA8b change. Keep the same ARD, but the R2b must reflect when you last made a change to the data in the MDS.

I believe you must use a new R2b. If you were doing a Modification you could keep the same R2b. But, as you know, you must do an inactivation and a new assessment in this situation. Since this is a brand new assessments, you must put the actual date that you completed this new assessment.

Okay, I have inactivated the 60 day assessment that should have been a 30 day....I have redone the 30day and am getting ready to resubmit....what do I sign as R2b?????   Help, this is driving me crazy, I have never had to inactivate a record and I am freaking........I want to keep the same date on the R2b and from reading the Correction policy, I think this is correct. Any answers are appreciated.
