After inactivating the record, the next step is to create and submit a new, original MDS record.  Since this is a new, original record, the R2b date would be the date the new assessment was completed - not the date the inactivated assessment was completed.  See the MDS correction policy at http://www.qtso.com/mdsdownload.html

Okay, I have inactivated the 60 day assessment that should have been a 30 day....I have redone the 30day and am getting ready to resubmit....what do I sign as R2b?????   Help, this is driving me crazy, I have never had to inactivate a record and I am freaking........I want to keep the same date on the R2b and from reading the Correction policy, I think this is correct. Any answers are appreciated.
