It's pretty sad, but a LOT of Mac's Classic and CLassic II machines are
dying off the same way.

Some listers are having mixed results by either cleaning the both boards
with Isopropyl, (rubbing), alcohol or tossing them into the dishwasher where
the caustic soap cleans the gummed boards enough to sometimes make them
work.
